KRABI-licious!

Welcome to Krabi, my Bwoy!

After the hangover of the Beautiful Phi Phi Island, it was time to head back and explore KRABI. But the resort that we booked didn’t want us to leave (Ananta Burin Resort. Worth recommending to Everyone!). They had a Dragon Slide. And that was enough to grab our attention. IT WAS AMAZING! We enjoyed the slides and stayed in the pool playing catch the ball for almost 2 hours. We were still not tried but we had to start exploring other places as well.

After the fun session, it was time to rent bikes and get the Ride Mode on. From some people we got to know about the famous Night Market so we headed there. After riding for about 8-9 km, we reached the Night market. You will regret it if you miss the Night Market, trust me. The place was very crowded (as expected), lots of food stalls, souvenir shops, clothing, apparel and what not.

Live Stage Performances!

To add to the flavour, they had Live Stage performances. Initially, they were performing their soothing traditional songs but in the end to mix it up, they sang “Closer” and some Justin beiber songs which stole the Show! The atmosphere of the Night Market was quite vibrant. And that was the highlight of our 1st day at KRABI.

Khao Ngon Nak Nature Trail

Next day we wanted to try something different, so we picked the “Khao Ngon Nak Nature Trail”.

The Trail was about 4 km (one side). But the twist was that it rained just before we reached there, so many people who were coming down were quite disappointed with the clouds ruining the view. Nevertheless, we started with our trail and after walking for about a kilometer, we realised that the trail wasn’t that easy and that the rain played a spoil sport. The Route became very slippery which increased our time to reach the Top.

Then came the 1st Viewpoint to the rescue. We clicked some pictures of the amazing view and then moved one step closer to our Destination. Next came a diversion, with Main Viewpoint on the left and Waterfalls on the right. We moved to the Waterfalls first and it was rather a disappointment and can be avoided.

The Earned View!

Much Awaited Viewpoint!

And then came the 360 degree Viewpoint. The same viewpoint for which we hiked for 1.5 hours, crossed a lot of slippery rocks, drenched in sweat, drank the limited water and motivating each other in order to reach the Top. This is the Viewpoint where you can click plenty of pictures to make your friends jealous to the core (Just like I did 😉 ). In Short, this trail is not to be missed if you visit Krabi.

After completing the trail, I had a sense of satisfaction in my heart and a lot of tired muscles in my body. We reached the airport to go back to Bangkok. For us Bangkok was a relaxing destination in the Whole trip (For obvious reasons).

I still have multiple places to cross off my bucket list from Bangkok, so for that I’ll visit the beautiful city again. Till then, Ciao!

    1. Krabi is not yet explored by a majority of people. Hence you’ll find the smooth roads quite empty and you can enjoy the weather while driving. And don’t worry, getting out of your comfort zone will do wonders for you! 😉
